Gwyneth Tripp

Grants Administrator

Gwyneth Tripp is grants administrator for the Foundation.  In her role she works with grantseekers and Foundation staff and systems to make sure the grant process is user-friendly, efficient, and current.  In addition to her grants administrator duties, Ms. Tripp enjoys learning about philanthropic history and best practices and sharing her research with colleagues.  She also serves as the Foundation's unofficial librarian.

Ms. Tripp grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, where her interest in social justice and health care began. In her experiences as chair of the Berkeley Youth Commission and intern at the Immune Enhancement Project, she learned firsthand about advocating for services and providing holistic care for vulnerable populations. She carried this through to her work in a variety of nonprofit organizations as she cultivated her artistic practices. Ms. Tripp enjoys integrating her creative nature, and systems and process savvy into her role as grants administrator.

Ms. Tripp received her bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a certificate in painting and drawing from the San Francisco Studio School. She loves to work in her studio, cook, and wander and explore her Oakland environs and beyond.
